Mountain Rain is formulated with a synergistic blend of spikenard, frankincense, and vanilla essential oils, selected for their complex aromatic chemistry and skin-supportive properties. Spikenard (rich in sesquiterpenes) imparts grounding, earthy notes; frankincense contributes Boswellia compounds known for their soothing effects; and vanilla adds subtle sweetness through vanillin, creating a warm, musky profile that is understated yet enduring. The “Regular” formulation employs sodium bicarbonate at a standard concentration to provide reliable odor control. Sodium bicarbonate functions by neutralizing acidic byproducts of bacterial metabolism, thereby reducing the compounds responsible for underarm odor. While effective, this alkaline ingredient may disrupt the skin barrier in individuals with sensitivities, and such users are advised to select a lower-bicarbonate alternative.
